Ferrari Aliante Concept is sexy car designed to seen at the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest in Maranello, Italy. The sexy Ferrari Aliante is a study of an extreme two-seat roadster created for the Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 by IED TUrin students Daniel Soriano, Arun Kumar and Magnus Grettve. Developed for the Ferrari World Design Competition, the Aliante is inspired both by Formula One racing cars and street legal GTs. The Ferrari Aliante features some amazing curves and sleek lines that definitely bring justice to the Ferrari. Should it ever come to fruition on the production tip, it looks like it would be an absolute animal on the road.

The Ferrari Aliante concept has the typical proportions of mid-engine sportscars, with a strong stance and planted feel resulting from the the minimal height, the muscular shoulders and the wedge-shaped front end of the Ferrari Aliante. The graphic look of the Ferrari Aliante is characterized by the contrast between the dark surfaces of the center section and the red body panels which almost wrap around the cockpit and engine compartment. The body surfacing of the Ferrari Aliante is aerodynamic-driven, with two distinctive side air intakes and a large lower lip that runs along the entire length of the car to increase the overall downforce.

Ferrari Aliante’s aggressive face that have been the main inspiration was provided by the iconic Ferrari F40, while the elongated LED headlights and the large “mouth” recall the current 458 Italia. Another element typical of the Ferrari Aliante is the transparent engine cover, which leaves exposed the engine and the hybrid system. As for the interior, Ferrari Aliante adopts a lotus leaf texture and is dust/water resistant, so that the car can be driven open in the rain, which enhances the Formula-like driving experience. The original concept sketches of the Ferrari Aliante were developed by Arun Kumar, while Daniel Soriano and Magnus Grettve carried out the 3d modeling and rendering processes.

The eccentric two-seat roadster draws its inspiration from the brand’s Formula One racing cars as well as their street legal GTs. Ferrari Aliante features large muscular shoulders that give the concept a seriously angry look while the front fascia has been inspired by the current 458 Italia with its elongated LED headlights. Will this concept of Ferrari Aliante ever make it to production? We can categorically say “NO”. It is not official and only provides speculative look into the future of the Italian brand through the eyes of student designers.
